I can’t believe it’s August! Our 24th Annual Gala & Silent Auction will be held next month on Friday, September 26, 2008 at the Hilton Americas. I hope you will join us as we honor Daniel David Hu for his many contributions to our legal community and listen as Schlumberger’s General Counsel Ellen Summer inspires us with her words of wisdom. More information about the Gala as well as other AABA and community news and events can be found in the attached newsletter.
We also want to highlight two events coming up this month: (1) Fundamentals of Business Development featuring Jim Cranston of Hildebrant International this Friday, August 8, 2008 at Gardere Wynne Sewell’s offices, and (2) Breakfast with the General Counsel on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at The Junior League.
